About the Campaign Against Corporate Complicity

The Trump administration tore our government apart. It has shredded norms, violated the rule of law, waged war on facts, spread misinformation, manipulated the public, and paved the way for the president’s supporters to incite a violent mob attack at the U.S. Capitol. We must ensure that the past four years of flagrant disregard for the core tenets of our democracy do not spread beyond this disgraceful administration.

As senior Trump administration officials seek refuge in corporate America, companies should fully vet their potential engagement in cruel and anti-democratic policies before they hire.

There are simply some lines that cannot be crossed.

The Campaign Against Corporate Complicity seeks to prevent normalizing the cruel and undemocratic actions and rhetoric of the Trump administration by ensuring that companies scrutinize former officials looking to sell their government experience as a qualification rather than a disgrace.
